Simple but strategic
The Counter-Terrorists must prevent the Terrorists from planting a C4 at either one of the two chemical weapon stashes. If they cannot succeed at doing so, they still have a chance at defusing the bomb. The map appears to be based in the Middle East, similar to its predecessor Dust. Dust2 is one of the most popular and played Counter-Strike map.
- Counter-Terrorists: Prevent Terrorists from bombing chemical weapon crates. Team members must defuse any bombs that threaten the targeted areas.
- Terrorists: The Terrorist carrying the C4 must destroy one of the chemical weapon stashes.
- There is a 'L33T KREW' grafitti on a wall near bombsite A which refers to Elite Crew, while the 'Goose' graffiti directly below it refers to Minh Le "Gooseman", the co-creator of Counter-Strike.
- A memorial is hidden behind the hill near the Counter-Terrorist Spawn zone in a tribute for Siege map's author Justin DeJong, who committed suicide in 2000. Directly behind the wall, near the ramp leading to bombsite A is a credits plaque.
