MP40 is a submachine gun in Counter-Strike Online.

Overview

This is a submachine gun originated from Nazi Germany to hold 32 rounds of 9mm. It was invented in 1940 and was later involved throughout the World War II, Cold War and Vietnam War. The MP40 was used extensively by paratroopers, platoon and squad leaders during World War II.

Trivia

  • MP40 is short form for Maschinenpistole 1940 or Machine Pistol 1940.
  • The reload and draw animations are similar to ARX-160.
  • This gun is incorrectly shown to be fired from a closed bolt.
  • The rate of fire is unusually fast for this gun (~900 RPM). In reality it only fires 550 RPM.
